HOMOEOPATHY FOR OPHTHALMIA NEONATARUM IN KIDS

Ophthalmia Neonatarum is conjunctivitis that occurs in newborn babies. Conjunctivitis is an inflammation (swelling and redness) conjunctiva (clear layer membrane of eye) which covers the white part of the eye as well as the lining of the eyelids.

Causes
  1. Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) from mother birth canal. Theses STDF’s may be  chlamidae, Gonorhhoea and viral oral and genital herpes
  2. Irritation in eye
  3. Blockage of tear duct

  • Swollen eye lids
  • watery or thick and pus-like
