face, feet, and hands.
These purposeless movements seem like dance
so the other synonym for chorea is St.vitus dance.
These dance movements are brief and present
at rest, and may persist during sleep.
Chorea
is regularly mild and usually goes away on its own after a few months. Most
cases of chorea do not medical intervention.
